- If you don't want to read that one again (15 parts),
here is a small synopsis:
- Private investigator Remington Steele chases Laura Holt to
Acapulco at the behest of her fiance, Wilson Jeffries. Steele's
associate, Murphy Michaels, informs Steele that HE knows Laura
from Havenhurst, that she had wanted to become a PI herself.
Upon Laura's return to LA with Steele, she and Wilson break up
and she joins the Remington Steele Detective Agency to finish
her apprenticeship. She and Steele are strongly attracted to
each other, and she is curious about her new employer's past-
especially why the father that Steele barely tolerates calls
him "Harry". So she investigates the "Boss",
and discovers that he's not who he claims to be. When Laura's
mother visits, Steele makes an attempt to smooth the waters between
the two women, causing Laura to promise that she will return
the favor the next time Daniel visits LA...
